Marvin's
Building Materials and Home Centers
In
1999, we teamed up with local radio personalities Rick & Bubba
to create a campaign for Marvin's that generated excitement
and sales for the company. Through television, radio, and
print, plus live remotes, Rick & Bubba added an element of
fun that led to them being named Marketers of the Year.
Because
of their great success in the advertising, we took them on
the road for the Marvin's/ Rick & Bubba "Huge" Road Show.
Results:
Through this promotion Marvin's was mentioned continuously
by Rick & Bubba and their callers. Each day on the show leading
up to the five- day road show and each day druing the "live"
broadcast, Marvin's and the participating vendors received
numerous mentions on the air. Total sales were up significantly.
The road show received credit for short-term and long-term
sales benefits the company generated.
